By accessing this website and utilizing our API services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Locara if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Unless otherwise stated, Locara and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Locara (excluding the raw geographical data which is public domain or sourced from open data projects). All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Locara for your own personal or commercial use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

Locara provides API access according to the tier you are subscribed to. We enforce rate limiting to ensure the stability of the platform for all users.
While we strive to ensure that the geographical data provided by our API is as accurate and up-to-date as possible, Locara does not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we promise to ensure that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website. We will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature arising from the use of our API data in your applications.
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
Pro plan subscribers are eligible for Locara's 99.99% uptime SLA. Uptime is defined as the percentage of time the Locara API responds successfully to authenticated requests during a calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance windows announced at least 48 hours in advance.
Availability is measured via independent third-party monitoring (UptimeRobot) against our public health endpoint at /api/health and core API endpoints. Live status and historical uptime are published on our public status page.
The following are excluded from uptime calculations:
If monthly uptime falls below 99.99%, eligible Pro subscribers may request service credits by contacting support within 30 days of the incident.
